Safety on the internet is very important. But it may not be the most EASIEST thing to do, but it is possible. These are the top 3 ways to stay safe and be responsible on the internet. It includes what you should remember when going on the internet, what to do when being cyber bullied, and texting tips.
When going online, REMEMBER:
If you or someone else is being CYBER BULLIED:
Take five. " Walk away from the computer, (or put down the phone)," says Victoria. This will help you calm down.
Stop ,block, and tell. "Stop what your doing , block the person or message, and tell a parent or trusted adult." says Joshua
Texting tips:
1. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
2. Think before texting or clicking.
3. Email, IM, text comes across different than speaking.
4. Revenge is not good. It won't help your bullying situation.
Bullying online:
1. No one is anonymous.
2. Anyone can be traced.
3. Take five, walk away, calm down.
